The New Orleans Bicycle Club is an organization dedicated to promoting bicycling, with the emphasis on bicycle racing, in the Greater New Orleans area. Although the original NOBC was founded before the turn of the century, the modern NOBC began in 1968, and has remained at the forefront of competitive cycling activity since that time. The club is a member of USA Cycling, and actively promotes competitions throughout the year. The NOBC represents a wide range of cyclists, from beginning Juniors to seasoned Masters. NOBC members are always available to advise prospective members about training and racing techniques. Club members organize training rides and seminars with the goal of developing riders for national competition. The club organizes group trips to area races, including the District Championships, and helps to defray team travel expenses in order to encourage everyone to participate. At the end of each season, there is the NOBC banquet, with awards for those members who were most successful or helpful during the year. We invite you to become a member of this unique family of cyclists.

To join the New Orleans Bicycle Club, you need only fill out and send in the Membership Application along with your annual dues. Membership dues for 2008 are $35. All members are eligible for partial race expense reimbursement, as club resources permit. Team jerseys and other items may be ordered seperately by club members.
